Symptoms

On : 2.4.0.1.0 version, Web Switching

There are several odd situations where switch sheets are not getting updated correctly.
Most notably, the "Instructed To" field is not getting populated as expected, and the Step Insertion Indicator is not getting drawn in the correct location.

The issues can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Planned switching sheet.
  2. Add some blank steps to the sheet.
  3. Assign a crew to the sheet from the Crews panel of the sheet.
  4. Transition the sheet to the Issued state.
  5. Instruct the first blank step.
  6. Select that step followed by a selection of the sheet's crew in the Crews list.
  7. Select the "Update 'Instructed To' in Steps" option.

Expected Behavior:
The step's Instructed To field is updated with the Crew Id.

Previous Behavior:
The step' Instructed To field was not updated with the Crew Id.  You have to select a different step or reselect the previous step to get the Crew ID to show up.

  1. Create a Planned switching sheet.
  2. Add four blank steps to the sheet.
  3. Assign a crew to the sheet from the Crews panel of the sheet.
  4. Transition the sheet to the Issued state.
  5. Select step 3
  6. Right click on step #2 and select the Place Step Insertion Indicator option.

Expected Behavior:
The insertion indicator will be show for that step.

Previous Behavior:
The insertion indicator was not shown.  You had to select a different step or reselect the step again to get the indicator to show.
