Is load balancer stickiness required for IWS requests?

The ACE load balancer which distributes traffic to the Weblogic servers for IWS requests is configured with stickiness.
Stickiness is an ACE feature that allows the same client to maintain multiple simultaneous or subsequent TCP or IP connections with the same real server for the duration of a session.
In essence, it means that the end clients use the same Weblogic server for IWS requests which is resulting in an uneven distribution of requests.

Is this a recommended or required configuration for IWS requests?
