Symptoms

When attempting to log into P6 Professional, the following error occurs:

Exception EAccessViolation in module PM.EXE at 0000000000789CEA. Access violation at address 000000000B89CEA in module "PM.EXE". Read address 0000000000000000.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch P6 Professional Application.
2. Observe the reported application error.
