Marking Task As 'Not Required' Does NOT Properly Set Gateway Event Status (Doc ID 2927899.1)

Symptoms

If a tasks is modified from the Task Maintenance window (w_task_generate) from the Service Request Search window to make the task 'Not Required', the gateway event status is not properly set to 'Not Required'. The window indicates that it will be set, but the status is not changed when the edits are saved. If the window is re-opened, the task shows to be 'Not Required', but the gateway event is still marked as 'Pending'.



Informational message about all events for task marked as not required.

Task: <TASK NAME>

All of the events assigned to this task will be marked as Not Required.

Error message saving changes to task when closing Task Maintenance window.

Gateway Events are open for <TASK NAME> task(s) which are already
completed. Please re-open the task or bypass the Gateway Event before
saving.
