Symptoms

When attempting to install an older version of P6 Professional, after uninstalling a newer version, the following error occurs:

ERROR

A newer version of the software is already installed. Aborting

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install a recent version of P6 Professional.
  2. Uninstall P6 Professional.
  3. Try to install an older version of P6 Professional.
  4. Observe Error Message.
