GSU AVP Missing in CCA Message (Doc ID 2930103.1)

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.4.0 and later

Symptoms

Granted-Service-Unit AVP (GSU AVP) is not filled on the Credit-Credit-Control-Answer message (CCA), right after the Final Units (FU) are consumed.

Scenario is like this:
1. Create an account with 300MB;
2. Start usage in below order:
U1: GSU 100MB
U2: USU 100MB, GSU 100MB                 USU--> Used-Service_Units
U3: USU 40 MB, GSU 100MB

U4: USU 100MB, GSU 60MB and FUI set:



U7: USU 0MB, GSU 0MB

U8: USU 0MB, GSU 0MB .... etc ...


Impact on the system:

Because of this problem, the Policy Gateway (PGW) is terminating the session with Termination cause DIAMETER_BAD_ANSWER.
