(Doc ID 2930137.1)
Last updated on JULY 13, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.1.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The Product Indication is not auto-populated in the Products Tab for a study drug even though the product has a Primary Indication in Console.
This occurs for a study with 2 products when one of the products has a Primary Indication configured in Console and the other one does not.
When the Study Drug with a Primary Indication is selected in the case, there are no records created in the Products tab > Product Indication section.
For example:
Product Family = ProdFamily1
Ingredient Name = PARACETAMOL
Product = Pre-Treatment
Dosage Formulation = N/A
Primary Indication = null
Manufacturer = Unknown
Product Family = ProdFamily2
Ingredient Name = N-BUTYL ALCOHOL
Product = ABC-1234
Dosage Formulation = Film
Primary Indication = Rash
Manufacturer = Oracle
Study Name = ABC1211
Product1 = Pre-Treatment (N/A / / ) -- this product has no Primary Indication
Product2 = ABC-1234 (Film / / ) -- Primary Indication = Rash
Create a case for study = ABC1211
In the Case Form > Products tab:
Product Name = ABC1211
Manufacturer = Unknown
Dosage Formulation = N/A
Study Drug = null
Substance Information = PARACETAMOL
Product Indication section has no records
This is expected because Product 'Pre-Treatment' (Ingredient = PARACETAMOL) has no Primary Indication.
In the Case Form > Products tab, select Study Drug = 'ABC-1234, Film' from the drop down list.
Substance Information changes to N-BUTYL ALCOHOL.
The Product Indication section has no records, but Product 'ABC-1234' (Ingredient = N-BUTYL ALCOHOL) is configured with Primary Indication = Rash.
