Adding Comment To The Event Is Not Working Properly in CS (Doc ID 2930423.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Customer Screening - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Steps to reproduce :

Step 1 : Open CS alert

Step 2 : Click on comment button under events exactly under status

Step 3 : Provide comments and save

Step 4 : check the status of event by default changed to false positive

Issue Encountered :

Alerts are closing without event resolution. When the user adds a comment without deciding it is a false positive or a true positive, the event
automatically goes to being a False Positive, even though in some cases, the analyst has written in the comment that it is a True Positive. But in the
Audit History window we can see that, where the analyst has written the comment, in the action column, there is no action registered . Alert
Decision is enabled and the analyst can resolve the alert when she should not be able, as no True/ False Positive decision has been made earlier, the
comment was added. Finally, the alert appears to be solved (in this cases is Closed-False Positive).
