OSM Scripts to Automatically Gather Data for Service Requests (Doc ID 2930858.1)

Last updated on APRIL 14, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.4.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

Generally, to troubleshoot an issue that you report with your OSM application, you need to gather substantial information about the issue. The information required includes GC logs, AWR reports, domain information, information about patches, managed server logs and so on. Gathering this information manually not only consumes a lot of your effort, but also increases the time it takes for Oracle to resolve an issue.

With OSM 7.4.1.0.10, Oracle provides scripts that help you gather the required data about an issue automatically and quickly. This eliminates the need for gathering data manually.

This document describes information about the scripts and how data is gathered.

The SR Data Gathering scripts are provided as sample as we recognize that deployment environments can differ significantly from one another. Please plan to test the scripts in your environment and modify the code, if required, to fit your specific needs.

Scope

Applies to OSM traditional releases 7.4.1.0.10 and higher.
