Goal
OSM 7.4.1 Installation guide - Linux parameters
According to the installation guide of OSM 7.4.1 the swappiness in the Linux server to 0.
vm.swappiness=0
Noticed that the Linux server was running out of memory very often without any reason (it is an SIT environment with low traffic) and had to restart it.
When changed swappiness back to the default value the out-of-memory issue on OS disappears.
Would like to ask if vm.swappiness=0 is a hard requirement and if yes why the server was going out of memory.
OS RHEL 8.7
Physical memory 34G
Admin Server: 3G
Managed server 24G
No other processes were running on the server
