SYSTEM_ERR During Tariff Time Change Usage Scenario (Doc ID 2933388.1)

On Oracle Communications Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) version, CNE Deployment

While performing usage with freesurf event with Tariff Time Change (TTC) enabled, and crossed the Billing Day of Month (BDOM), it is observed that the usage has failed with SYSTEM_ERR and below Exception is reported in the ecs logs during this.


Filename: ecs1-0.log_996_TTC_issue

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. On ECE Version, enable nonLinear rating and TTC in charging-settings.xml

2. Create an account with a base and roaming and RCC bundle.

3. Start usage for RG 996 and CCR Messages as below:

CCR-I -   28/02/2023/23:40---> ECE respond with CCA-I
CCR-U1 -28/02/2023/23:45--->ECE respond with CCA-U1(GSU-400MB)
CCR-U2 -28/02/2023/23:50 (consume 10MB)--->ECE Respond with CCA-U2(GSU-400MB)
CCR-U3 -01/03/2023/00:03 TTC (before TTC-consume 20MB , after TTC-consume 30MB)

CCR-I    Credit-Control-Request-Initial
CCR-U   Credit-Cotrol-Request-Update
CCA-I    Credit-Control-Answer-Initial
CCA-U   Credit-Control-Answer-Update

4. Check if ECE has respond with SYSTEM_ERR on CCA-U3(GSU-0MB and DiamterGateway sends CCA with (DIAMETER_UNABLE_COMPLY(5012)
