Symptoms
When attempting to synchronize data from P6 to OPC the Compare step fails and the following error occurs.

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "null"
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a project flow that maps P6 Activity and UDFs
2. The flow fails on the Compare step
