Records Created via Reverse Auto-Populate Take Longer Than Expected to Create - Sometimes Even Several Days (Doc ID 2938511.1)

Symptoms

When configured a Data Element (DE) in Business  Process (BP) X to reverse auto-populate (RAP) the value in Destination BP: Y, noticed that for a few records the  RAP has not happened at the expected time.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The RAP should occur as per the settings in a couple of minutes and not at a later date.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into the environment
2. Go to the Shell
3. Go to BP
4. Find specific record
5. Go to the Audit log
6. Go to the Reference Records
7. Select destination BP
8. Go to the Audit log
9. The RAP was created on a later date
