Capacity On Resources In Planner's Workbench Is Not Accurate When Using Simulation Set.
(Doc ID 2939766.1)
Last updated on JUNE 20, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Materials Requirement Planning - Version 12.2.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The Current view in the planners workbench (navigation: Material Planning / Workbench / Horizontal Plan) is not being adjusted by the utilization % on the adjustment units, so the current capacity is not correct because it is getting the full brunt of the units adjustment.
Example:
Resource: RES1
Base capacity is 2 units x 8 hrs x 43.75% utilization =7
Used simulation set to adjust units down by -.6
Snapshot and Job/Resource Workbenches: 2 units -.6 units=1.4 x 8 hours x 43.75% utilization = 4.9
Current is: 7 Base Capacity – (.6 adjusted units x 8 hours) = 2.2
