STUDENT_VW reporting view is empty

The STUDENT_VW reporting view is empty, but many students have been created. It does not make any sense why "select * from student_vw" returns no rows.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

STUDENT_VW reporting view will contain data.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. create data model with SQL: select * from student_vw
2. execute data model query
3. see no rows

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see existing student data by using the STUDENT_VW datamodel.
