ORA-01483 Error When Scheduling Projects In P6 Professional (Doc ID 2943975.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When attempting to schedule projects in P6 Professional, the following error appears on the screen.


ERROR

TCScheduleOption.Save: EDBEngineError=(PRM DBAccess Error: ORA-01483: invalid length for DATE or NUMBER bind variable), sql=(UPDATE PROJPROP SET PROP_VALUE = :PROP_VALUE WHERE PROJ_ID =:PROJ_ID AND PROP_NAME = :PROP_NAME)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Professional.
  2. Go to Enterprise > Projects.
  3. Open a project.
  4. Go to Tools > Schedule.
  5. Click Schedule.
  6. Error message is displayed on screen.
