Symptoms

When importing Configuration Packages with Shell Templates, the following error is generated:

XXXX Configuration package import has failed - The Configuration Package contains an exception. Contact your System Administrator. Exception occurred during processing. Code: XXXX-ConfigPack Exception context: SheIIHandler.unpackData in procedure: unpackData
Last processed context SheIIHandler.unpack().


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Export the configuration package from Development environment
  2. Import the configuration into Test environment
  3. Error is displayed during the processing
