How Much Does Store.indexmapreadonly Apply To Anything Other Than Ims_master? (Doc ID 2945789.1)

Using: Oracle Communications Messaging Server 8.1.0.22.20230228 64bit (built Feb 28 2023)

How much does store.indexmapreadonly apply to anything other than ims_master?

When the problem which generated Doc ID 2051043.1 occurred, as the title says, it was all about system-mode CPU time used by the ims_master processes.

Does store.indexmapreadonly get used in imapd or any other long running processes?

In other words, if that option was to be unset, how important would it be to also restart the store? Or, can the normal lifecycle of ims_master processes be relied on for the change to take effect?
