Purpose

Agile Collection (Acollect) is a diagnostic tool developed by Oracle Support for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems on an Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.  The tool collects information relating to:

• Agile Application Server – Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS).
• Agile File Manager including remote Distributed File Manager (DFM) – Apache Tomcat.
• Application Program Interface (API) including Software Development Kit (SDK) and Libraries - Java (JDK) for Developers.
• Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Configuration.

This document provides steps to run Acollect on Agile PLM systems, including DFMs. It should be utilized whenever the Agile PLM system is exhibiting problems relating to performance or abnormal behavior. It can also be used for the purpose of capturing configuration information when building other Agile PLM environments. This information can be used as a baseline for regression testing and performance tuning.

Scope

This document applies to the following products and versions:

• Oracle Agile PLM version 9.3.6 with all Release Update Pack (RUP).
• Oracle Agile PLM version 9.3.5 with all RUP.
• Oracle Agile PLM versions 9.3.2, 9.3.3, and 9.3.4 with all patches.
