When No Sorting Is Mentioned the Redline Bill of Materials(BOM) Tab Is Sorted by Item Number by Default (Doc ID 2946568.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Users copy part information like quantity and other attributes from source file to Redline BOM table.

In Personalize table with no sorting configured the parts are automatically sorted based on the Item numbers.



EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When no sort is configured the parts should be displayed in Redline BOM in the descending order of addition to the table.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Web Client : http(s)://<FQDN>:<port>/Agile/PLMServlet
2. Open a Change Order | Affected Items.
3. Select an item and go to the Redline BOM.
4. Add a new part in the table.
5. The sorting is done based on the Personalize | sort settings.
6. Remove all sorting orders by removing the attributes from sort tab.
7. Repeat step 4. Add a new part in the Redline BOM tab.
8. The records are sorted based in Part numbers in Ascending order instead of the entered order.
