Symptoms

On : 2.5.0.1.0 version, NMS Infrastructure

For seemingly unknown reasons, most of the NMS services went down on the customer's production system.

sms-start did not restart the failed services.  So, they had to stop all services via "sms-stop -aiS" and then restart all of them.

Many of the service logs had errors similar to this:

Isis info on 127.0.0.1 (pid 2202) Tue Apr 25 18:33:27 2023
got a very old dup (-2147483101 <= 2147432812) from (1/25:42725.0) (discarded)
