Information in this document applies to any platform.
Note: All OFSA 4.5 products have reached sustaining support.

Symptoms

An Oracle Transfer Pricing (TP) Process ID fails with a Status of "job returned -11" in the Server Status Update screen. The error occurs during the step of "Historical Rates" with a Title of "Loading IDs".

The following error appears in the Request Queue (rq) log:

Mon Jan 10 14:27:58 2005 : Command: /ofsa453/bin/ofstp
Mon Jan 10 14:28:04 2005 : Process 14550: died. (Signal 11) core dumped, saved in core.14550
Mon Jan 10 14:28:04 2005 : Process ID 14550: completed with return code -11.

If you turn on the server-side debug and look at the resulting ofstp.xxxxx.log file, the final SQL statement in the file references a specific INTEREST_RATE_CD value in the table OFSA_IRC_RATE_HIST.

For example:

select ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_cd,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.effective_date,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_term,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_term_mult,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate
from ofsa_irc_rate_hist
where ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_cd = 210.00000
and ofsa_irc_rate_hist.effective_date <= '12/ 31/ 2004'
order by ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_cd,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.effective_date,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_term_mult,
ofsa_irc_rate_hist.interest_rate_term
