Unable to Add Database Configurations or Enter Login Credentials in the Primavera P6 Client (Doc ID 2953820.1)

Symptoms

Login credentials cannot be entered on the P6 Professional login screen, databases are not listed in the advanced drop-down menu and the "Add" button in the database configuration menu is grayed out.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open P6 Professional.
  2. Notice it is not possible to enter a login name or password and no databases are listed.
  3. Click on "Edit database configuration".
  4. Notice  the 'Add' button is greyed out.
