Unable to delete a network component/element from a Network System due to a "This element participates in relationships with the following network systems and cannot be deleted or removed..." error. For example, when attempting to delete the <COMPONENT> and <COMPONENT> devices with the old CLLI codes, <CLLI CODE> and <CLLI CODE> respectively, from the Network System Design, the error is received (complete text below).

ERROR

This element participates in relationships with the following
network systems and cannot be deleted or removed from the
network:

<NETWORK SYSTEM NAME>


When reviewing the Network System Design named in the error, the <COMPONENT> is listed with the new CLLI code, <CLLI CODE>, and attempting to delete it results in another relationship type error (complete text below).

All relationships to this element must be removed before the
element can be deleted or removed from the network.
