How to Get Sound Alerts To Work In Convergence When Using Weblogic? (Doc ID 2956301.1)

Goal

On: Convergence 3.0.2.4 with WebLogic

Sound alerts are not working in Convergence.
Alerts have been enabled by the user in Convergence via "Settings -> Global -> Sound Alerts" but there is no sound being emitted when receiving an email.

How can the sound alerts be configured so that a user is notified when a new email has arrived?
