Accessing to the New Agile Instance Using the Same URL Used in the Current Instance (Doc ID 2958132.1)

Goal

Now setting up a new instance for Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
The new instance is build with a new host name and domain name, and the URL to access to Agile is different from the current Production instance.
Do not want to change the URL used by the end user to access to Agile, so planning to setup the Domain Name System (DNS) to map the host name of the current Production instance to the host name of the new instance.
Would it be possible to access to the new Agile instance using the same URL used in the current instance, and also add/download file?
