When Refunding Some Money Into General Cash, It Is Always Treated As Prepaid, Even If It Is Postpaid (Doc ID 2958759.1)

Last updated on JULY 06, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 12.0.6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to refund some money to the wallet of a customer in the general cash balance type. If the general cash is set as limited postpaid with a credit limit of x after the refund it is transformed into prepaid and the credit limit is deleted.
For this, a custom feature node developed using NCC SDK (Network Charging and Control Software Development Kit) is used to do the refund mentioned above. Wallet has General Cash type Limited Postpaid (not Prepaid).

The issue is with acsActionsAPI::SmallBalanceBucketInfo::getInstance - it requires only balanceType and UnitType. Can't set Limited Postpaid here (DEBT is hardcoded), so after update General Cash is changed to Prepaid.
