RMS INACTIVE SESSIONS BLOCKING RECORDS/TABLES FOR LONG TIME (Doc ID 2960271.1)

Symptoms

On : 19.0.1 version, Other

When attempting to edit for example a purchase order,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

 “This record is currently locked by another user.”


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Sign into RMS app.
2. Remained logged in until the network timeout specified.
3. Attempt to edit a purchase order.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, tables/records get blocked for a long time.

Changes

 Changes were made at the Weblogic server, specifically the session timeout value was set to 25 minutes.
