Cannot Login To Unifier Application And Observed Stuck Threads In WebLogic Server (Doc ID 2961288.1)

Symptoms

ERROR
-----------------------

Unifier intermittenlty cause large numbers of stuck threads in Weblogic.
This results to an unresponsive Unifier application where users are unable to log in to the application. When users access the application during the issue it only loads indefinitely.

The issue can be fixed temporarily by restarting the unifier application. The issue occurs unexpectedly.
See the following error in unifier server log:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Try to login unifier.
2. Unifier keeps loading with blank page.
