ATP Pegging Results Are Different For Transfer Item in Demanding Org VS Supplying Org (Doc ID 2961296.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Global Order Promising - Version 12.1.3.9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Item FG is made in BBB org, then transferred to AAA org for distribution
Stock is stored at AAA org, so typically, the ATP inquiry would be executed in AAA org.
Sourcing is set up such that AAA is replenished by BBB, which is the manufacturing org.

NAV: Order Management (R) / Scheduling / ATP Inquiry

Inconsistencies are observed when doing ATP inquiry in BBB vs. AAA.
In ATP Inquiry form
When initiated from Org AAA
qty - 100 for FG requires 100 of component CompA which is has only 40 in BBB
KEY POINT: ATP pegging shows Buy From Supplier for qty 100 for CompA - even though 40 exist in BBB

When initiated from Org BBB
qty - 100 for FG requires 100 of component CompA which is has only 40 in BBB
KEY POINT: ATP pegging shows Buy From Supplier for qty 60 for CompA - acknowledging the 40 on hand in BBB

Expectation is that ATP Inquiry from Org AAA will show pegging to Buy From Supplier for only 60 , not full requirement of 100
