Symptoms

On : 16.0.1 version, Inventory Movement

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When the Fulfillment webservice is called with 0 quantity for the item it returns the expected error message:
"The order quantity must be greater than zero for item X. Customer order no X, Fulfill order no X"

But this webservice call is leaving data on SVC_FULFILL tables and due to the volume of failures of this type of message it is introducing performance constraints.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Data from SVC_FULFILL tables are to be purged, even if the fulfilment webservice is returning an error.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Send multiple fulfillment order messages with 0 quantity for the item.
2. Check SVC_FULFILL tables, all data is still there. There is no purge process for messages that return errors.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users will have performance constraints.

WORKAROUND
---------------------
Manually cleaning SVC_FULFILL tables.
