Users Unable to Export Masked Data from DMW UI (Doc ID 2964347.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 3.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Life Sciences Data Management Workbench (DMW) 3.3 version,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------
For a table with blinded columns/cells, a user that does not have (or had before) any functional
roles to see or break blinded data is unable to export the masked data from DMW UI in Excel or CSV format.
The exported files is saved as null.xls without any data in it.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-------------------------
It would be expected that the user who does not have any functional roles to see or break blinded data to be able to export the data as shown in DMW UI Listings.

STEPS
--------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Create a study with a table blinded at column/cell level, and masked data.
2. Load data into that table.
3. Create an LSH/DMW user without any blinding roles assigned.
4. Access the blinded table and attempt to export the data (in masked format).
