Configure IDS To Encode Data In ASCII Format To Support Printing Of French Characters In The PDF
(Doc ID 2969295.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Documaker - Version 12.5 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
On : 12.5 version
With Documaker 12.5/IDS 2.8 we observed that if the input file has French characters with accent, then IDS is sending the file in UTF-Format which requires the mask 8 to be added in the rules to move the data to the field . Can IDS be configured to always send the input file in ANSI format so we don’t need to manually add the masking at a form level .
