ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

User unable to pass the Promotion code in Contract Update Web Service call, facing error Invalid Promotion Cd

Issue: WS call failed with error "Invalid Promotion Code", when Promotion code passed in WS call. However same Promotion code is allowed to be saved from UI.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Promotion code passed is valid for the application as per the Pricing setup. Same is allowed to be saved via UI (Edit button action), hence same should be accepted via Web Service call.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using the attached request and response details call the Contract Update WS call with the promotion code SAC_60_DAYS (60 days same as CASH).
2. System should allow the SAC_60_DAYS (60 days same as CASH) saved in the application without error message "Invalid Promotion Code".
3. Currently system allowing to save in UI and not via Contract Update WS call.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot have the Contract Update WS call for updating promotion code for an application since its throwing the error message "Invalid Promotion Code."
