Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Currently the 5G Stand Alone Call Detail Record (5G SA CDR) store for aggregation relies on Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDMS) technology can have limitation in term of horizontal scalability in a Telco environment, which is not optimized for such technology (virtualized CPU and storage, disk, iops (input/output operations), request latency <10ms, multi processing on extraction, purging, etc).
Given the growing data User Equipment (UE) and Internet of things (IOT), traffic expectation to migrate to 5G SA Core Network, this feature shall rely on more fit-to-purpose technology like a scalable key-value based (eg. Oracle NoSQL/JSON Database) and that can be deployed in a cloud native environment.

Can this 5G SA CDR store technology scalability be enhanced?
