High Execution Time for alter_column_last_notification_t.source (UpdateMe.pl script) (Doc ID 2972939.1)

Goal

While running the upgrade of Billing and Revenue Manager (BRM) from Patch Set 3 (PS3) to Patch Set 6 (PS6), UpdateMe.pl script took a lot of time to finish (around 9 - 11 hours).
Most of the time was spent on alter_column_last_notification_t.source file.

Q: I is possible to comment "########12,PS5,SQL,alter_column_last_notification_t.source,,,,,0" section from UpdateMe.pl script while running the upgrade from 12.0 PS3 to PS6 and execute it later, after upgrade is successful?
