Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) 12.0.0.4.0 version, Cloud-Native (CN) Deployment

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Spending-Status-Notification-Request (SNR) not generated when multiple toggles on a Policy Label (with Status Labels OutOfAllowance (-2) and InAllowance (-1)) within same session.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
ECE should generate SNR when multiple toggles happen within same session.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Create an account with the  mandatory, daily and optional Bundles.
2.From Zone 1, add a top-up of 60MB, and initialize the policy status label OutOfAllowance (-2).
3.Start usage in Zone 1.
4.Deplete the top-up bucket.
5.After depleting the top-up bucket, check if the respective Policy Label is changed from OotOfAllowance (-2) to InAllowance (-1) and the SNR is also generated.
6.Continue the usage and deplete the daily price bucket and check if SNR generated for daily price depletion though the Policy Label again changed from InAllowance (-1) to OutOfAllowance (-2).
