UDT Message Handling In SLC (Doc ID 2976528.1)

Goal

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) 6.0.1 version,

It is observed that Service Logic Controller (SLC) is sending Unit Data (UDT) message handling information as “No special options”.

1. It is observed that in every response message, SLC is sending Message handling information as “No special options” instead of “Return message on error (0x8)”.
2. Due to this Customer is not receiving any UDTS error messages from their network if it is not able to deliver a response to the end node.
