Information in this document applies to any platform.

After logging into Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process (PLM4P, P4P) portal using load balancer HTTPS URL, and navigating to Home, Global Specification Management (GSM) or any other application menu from the left navigation panel, the URL re-directs from https to http and returns error in the browser as seen below:

This site can't be reached

{load_balancer}.{domain_name} refused to connect.

 - Checking the connection
 - Checking the proxy and the firewall

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch Chrome browser, and access to P4P portal with https URL: https://{load_balancer}.{domain_name}/portal
  2. Give username and password, and login.
  3. Navigate to GSM or any other application from the left navigation panel. Gets error: "This site can't be reached." in the browser.
  4. Open the browser in debugging mode by hitting F12 key. See the https URL is redirected to http.
For example, https://{load_balancer}.{domain_name}/gsm is being redirected to http://{load_balancer}.{domain_name}/gsm

Configured Load Balancer to access to P4P portal and enabled SSL.
