How is the Need By Date Calculated in Constrained Plans? (Doc ID 2978678.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.3.9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

For planned orders with multiple demands, the need by date does not make sense to the users.

Example item has demand for 10 on Sysdate (12-SEP) that creates planned order for 55 (due to order modifier)
- This pegs to demand on sysdate and left over pegs to next demand on 19-NOV

Do not understand why the Need By Date is calculated as 10-OCT
