Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), it is possible for the Oracle wallet to be lost and/or need recovery.

The Oracle wallet is created when installing NCC/3C and has a random password generated at the time of installation of the software.

It is not possible to recover the Oracle wallet password and the wallet must be recreated from scratch every time.

This article will explain how this can be done.
