Customer have noticed that out of box Aggregation Processor Cartridge(AP) is very slow compared to Enhancement Processor(EP) cartridges. They did a test to check how much maximum AP can perform. Commented out a store Network Accounting Record(NAR) function in Node Programming Language(NPL) and just used write(out) and throughput of 14000 Call Detail Records(CDR's) per second while EP was giving more than 50000 CDR's per second through put. Also noticed that increasing thread count is not helping some times even when CPU has capacity to handle threads.

Is their a way to improve AP cartridge performance?

AP performance needs an improvement

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Commented out a store NAR function in NPL and just use write(out) and got throughput of 14000 CDR's per second while EP was giving more than 50000 CDR's per second through put.
