"Stop running the script?" Message Received for Script on Page Causing Web Browser to Run Slowly After Opening Several ASR Order Modal Windows (Doc ID 2986939.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to assign a Provisioning Plan to an ASR order, a message is received after selecting a plan from the Provisioning Plan drop-down in the "Tasks" window (w_task_generate_response_maint) about a script on the page causing the web browser to run slowly. The application crashing with an "Error Number 2" has occasionally been observed during the process as well. Complete text of script message and crashing error below.

NOTE: The script message displays approximately 2 minutes 10 seconds after the window(s) have been opened. The intermittent crashing Error Number 2 is related to the combination of receiving the script message and re-scheduling of tasks on the Task List tab.
