Symptoms

In a cloud native environment (CNE), during online rating in Elastic Charging Engine (ECE), the user observes multiple errors and it is corresponding with “DiameterFrameworkMessagesBundle-30104” error in Diameter Gateway (DGW)

2023-08-28 02:20:06.023 CEST ERROR - - - - DiameterFrameworkMessagesBundle-30104: An unexpected Exception is thrown during gy request processing with following message: null
java.lang.ClassCastException: null

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Trigger online rating from the Seagull online pods.
