Batch XML File Generation - Does It Use Transactional Data or DLP Data? (Doc ID 2989927.1)

Goal

1) Does batch reports run on Transactional or DLP data?  (Case Actions > Open > Select the cases and click 'Batch' button to further generate the desired report).

2) If the batch reports run transactional data, can batch xml reports be generated based on particular version of a case?
