Agile PLM Attachments Core Web Service Not Working, Returns "FAILURE" With Exceptionid: 60086 in the Response Code after Updating Ifsuser Password (Doc ID 2990336.1)

Symptoms

Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Attachments Core Web Service returns "FAILURE" with exceptionId:60086 in the response code after changing ifsuser password:

SOAP Response:

  • Submit Request.
  • Gets statusCode "SUCCESS" in the response.
  • Login to Java Client as admin user, and go to Admin tab > Settings > User Settings, and double-click Users. In the menu bar, click the Change Internal Password User drop-down list, and click Change Password of "ifsuser", and set the new password.
  • Run encryptPwdUtil utility found under %AgileHome%\agileDomain\bin to encrypt the new password.
  • Open server.conf file under %Agile_Home%\agileDomain\config, and change the value of user.pwd with the encrypted new password.
  • Restart File Manager server service and confirm it starts successfully.
  • Login to Web Client, and confirm add attachment works.
  • Go to SoapUI, and Submit Request.
  • See the Response now shows statusCode: FAILURE with ExceptionID: 60086
