When creating new Data Models or reviewing delivered ones, there is an option to Validate the data model. In most, if not all, cases, this generates multiple warnings.

As an illustration, when you edit the delivered data model "Award Acceptance Disbursement Detail Information" behind the delivered Operational report "Fund Acceptance Detail Report", and click the "Validate" button, it returns 14 different warnings. The first of these points to a merge cartesian join and explicitly states the user should "Generate the explain plan" to identify the cartesian join. Then when clicking on the "STATUS_DETAIL_DS" Data Set and clicking the pencil icon to view the SQL, there is the button "Generate Explain Plan". Clicking this button should download the explain plan, but the following error returns: "java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01039: insufficient privileges on underlying objects of the view".

Reports migrated to OAS from BI.
