Symptoms
Below exception is generated in Agile Application Server log after upgrading to 9.3.6.23:
java.sql.SQLException: Numeric Overflow
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Restart Agile Application Server.
- Check Agile Application Server log. See Agile Application Server is started, but "java.sql.SQLException: Numeric Overflow" is generated repeatedly.
- Run Averify by executing averify.bat/averify.sh from %Averify_Home%\bin.
- Check oracle_averify_report.log generated under %Averify_Home%\logs. See the Averify sequence errors AGIL-00025157, AGIL-00025158, AGIL-00025159, AGIL-00025160, AGIL-00025161 reported.
Changes
Upgraded from 9.3.1.2 to 9.3.6.23, and ran GAP collector and ran below rebuild ID sqls to address Averify severe sequence errors (AGIL-00026000, AGIL-00026001, AGIL-00025151, AGIL-00025153):
rebuild-QueryIDs.sql
Rebuild-ChangeHistoryIDs.sql
Rebuild-ItemHistoryIDs.sql
