Unable to save the Changes in the Gantt Chart and Getting Modify Privilege Error (Doc ID 2995033.1)

Symptoms

Project manager cannot save changes in the Gantt chart and displays below error while saving changes in Gantt chart even though project manager has full modify privilege for the project.

"Update Failed! Your update cannot be completed. You do not have the appropriate modify privileges on one or more project activities or attributes. Return to Gantt and validate your authority to modify certain projects."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Web Client with user who has modify privilege to the Project.
2. Open Project.
3. Do Gantt Chart > Full Lock Mode. Now the Gantt Chart launches.
4. Make changes to the project, and Save. Gets the error.
5. Login to Java Client and check the modify activities privilege assigned to this user. Can see all the available fields are added to Applied To.
