What is the difference between Broad and Narrow Standardised MedDRA Queries (SMQs) in the Argus MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) browser?
For example:
Utilities > MedDRA Browser:
Searching for Narrow (N) Torsade de Pointes/QT Prolongation (SMQ):
6 total Preferred Terms (PTs) are returned.
Searching for Broad (B) Torsade de Pointes/QT Prolongation (SMQ):
26 total Preferred Terms are returned - 20 Broad PTs and 6 Narrow PTs.
